Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Betts Dunson, 91, will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Phillips officiating.

Entombment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery Mausoleum. Public visitation will be today from noon until 8:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 - 8 p.m. at Ervin Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Annie Mae Betts Dunson is survived by her sons, Thomas James (Anita) Macon of Fort Wayne, Ind., John Edward (Pearlie) Dunson of Anniston and Dunn Lewis (Constance) Dunson of Cleveland, Ohio; her daughters, Patricia Dunson (Jackie) Whatley of Admore and Sharon Dunson of Anniston; one sister, Tina Crofton Price and a brother, Lovell Crofton both of Chicago, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Willie Edward (Corine) Dunson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three sisters-in-laws, Anne (Robert) Finch and Maggie Dunson both of Detroit, Mich. and Jeanette Crofton of Chicago, Ill.; twenty-eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and several special nieces, nephews and many special friends young and old.

Annie Mae Dunson was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Dunson; granddaughter, Dacia DeVona Dunson-Workman; parents, Lillie Barker Betts Crofton and James Betts; six brothers and two sisters.
