Graham - Mrs. Cassie Bowen, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away on April 20, 2011. She was 90.

Mrs. Bowen was born on July 3, 1920 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Enock and Pearlie Butler.

She was a member of Bethlehem Campground United Methodist Church in Graham.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bowen; her granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Noles; and seven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Bowen is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jerry and Bernice Noles, Jake Lacroy, Genelle Estes, Johnny and Patsy Spence, Rick and Joyce Wiseman, and Brian and Jean Cobb; her grandchildren, David Noles, Charles Estes, Jimmy Spence, Keith Pollard, Mark Spence, Randy Spence, Donnie Pollard, Patti, Teressa, and Janet Sadie, Sharon Tyroff, and Don Pollard; and eighteen great-grandchildren; and a special caretaker, Pat Layland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cassie Bowen will be held today, April 22, 2011, at 1 p.m. (Georgia Time) at Bethlehem Campground UMC. The Rev. Jimmy Nixon will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Bowen's grandsons, David Noles, Nathan Noles, Josh Noles, Nick Noles, Charles Estes, Jimmy Spence, and Keith Pollard.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Prior to the services, Mrs. Bowen's body will lie-in-state at the church from noon until 1 p.m. (Georgia Time). Rainwater Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. .
