Funeral services were held today for Edward M Edwards who departed from this life on the 9th. Bishop Jones presided and Thomas Robinson offered the opening prayer. The speakers were Simon Topham, Danial Stones, D A Lamoreaux, Bishop Jones of Paragonah and J Clayton Mitchell of Parowan. All spoke of the upright life of the deceased. Bro. Edwards favorite hymn The Spring Time is Passing was rendered by W T Davenport, Danial Stones, Lowe Barton and J B Davenport. Benediction was pronounced by W P Barton.

Mr Edwards was born in Wales 81 years ago on the 27 of this month and emigrated to this country when a young man, with his mother, brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons David B and Edward M Jr. one brother William and two sisters, Eliza Hanks and Sarah Robb.
