Giles T Lowry, one of the prominent citizens of Buck, died at that place on Monday morning at eight o'clock, after an illness covering several months. He had grip and being quite well advanced in age, the disease weakened him down and resulted in his death at the time mentioned.
Mr Lowry was 76 years of age. He was born in the vicinity of Grassy Meadows, but had been living at Buck for many years. He married Miss Martha Woodrum, who with six children survive. The sons are John L and S T of Buck Nelson M of Forest Hill and the daughters are Mrs E L Webb of Forest Hill, Mrs O L Webb of Princeton, and Mrs A H Saunders, of Seminole. In addition to the above mentioned relatives, he leaves many other relatives and friends.
