Dennis R. Mc Daniel 69,Or Rural route 4, Bluestem Trailer Park,died Sunday afternoon at Susan Allen Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home Chapal. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.
Mr. Mc Daniel was born December 16,1914 in Nowata, Oklahoma.,the son of Claude and Olivia(Olive)(Blauvelt) Mc Daniel.On November 17, 1977,
he married Donna Lee Hunter in ElDorado.Mr. Mc Daniel was a longtime resident of El Dorado and leon area.He had been employed since 1942 at Skelly(Getty)refinery, where he worked in the cannery unit. He was a member of the local Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union.
He is survived by his wife ,Donna Lee,of the home four sons, David Mc Daniel and Marvin Mc Daniel both of leon, Dale Mc Daniel of Augusta and Paul Mc Daniel of Beaumont, Kansas; two daugthers, Ramona Rowland, Augusta and Martha Belt, Emporia; three brothers, Clarence Robinson of Oklahoma, Darwin Mc Daniel of Wellington and Foster of Glenrock, Wyo. two sisters,Emma June Pierce of Eureka and Regina Oyler of Neodesha; 15 Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and three brothers.
