SCHEFFER, George P. 92, of St. Petersburg, died on Aug. 9, 2012. Sadly missed by is wife, Joan; his sister, Marilyn Parlato of Kings Park, NY; son, Gordon (Linda) of Wesley Chapel; and 5 grandchildren. Proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WW II and Korea. He is predeceased by wife, Gladys; sister, Gladys; and son, Robert. He enjoyed airplane flying, dancing and traveling. Memorial Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church Thursday, Aug. 16 at 10 am.
