James was a Singer,Comedian,Violinist and Shoemaker.
James and Margaret died within a few months of each other,both are buried in Nictaux Cemetery.James was a great singer and also a comedian having had a comedy team with Peleg Spinney of Torbrook.He was a fine violin player and taught sining school at Inglisville.Two of his students,Avery and Atwood Beals showed great talent and james named his son Avery Atwood aftr the Beals boys.James was also a shoemaker,he sawed off the bottom of a lamp to make a shoe last and called it his " Doodle-Dum".
When Nina and Jaames were bapitised 25 Oct 1893,the address of the parents was given as Brikton,NS.James Sr. was bapitised on 25 Oct 1893.
