Age 84, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 17, 1927 in Fillmore, IL to Edward and Lena (Henson) Hopwood.

On September 2, 1949 she married Harold Weiman and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1990. Evelyn enjoyed ministering with her husband who pastured many churches throughout the Southern Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist denomination. She also served as secretary of the Milan Free Methodist Church where she was a devoted member.

She is survived by three daughters; Cindy (John) Schoultz of Kalamazoo, Sandra (Alex) Frey of Maybee, and Joyce (Bob) Kapp of Grosse Ile, three grandsons; Marcus (Stephanie) Frey, Nicholas Frey, Christopher (Ellie) Schoultz, and three great grandchildren; Sya, Jack and Riley.

Visitation will be at the Milan Free Methodist Church on Thursday from 2-8pm where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am. Friday, August 17, 2012. Burial will follow in London Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Milan Free Methodist Church Building Fund.
