M.F. BLAIR DIED TODAY
Marvin F. Blair, 59, a longtime resident of Webster City, died early this morning at the Hamilton county hospital. he had been in ill health for several years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Segerstrom officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
Marvin Francis Blair, son of Frank and Cynthia Blair, was born May 30, 1907, at Webster City. He was reared and educated in this comunity.
He was united in marriage Jan. 12, 1936 to Ruth Peterson and to this union two children were born: Gary Blair of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Lloyd (Mary ) Hommer, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren, Roberta Ruth and Thomas Patrick Blair.
His wife preceded him in death in 1947.
He was united in marriage Nov. 10, 1960, to Esther Abbas and with the exception of two years spent at Iowa Falls, the family had always lived in Webster City.
He is survived by his wife, the two children; and the two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Etta) Wilson, Mrs. Forrest (Ella) Graham and Mrs. George (Maebelle) Scott, all of Webster City, and several nieces and nephews.
