Funeral services for Mrs. Alzier Devillier Wyble, 85, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Wyble, a native of Leonville, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 1997, in her Port Barre residence.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Carroll and Karleen Wyble, Leon Aaron and Teresa Wyble, all of Port Barre, and Gerald and Trich Wyble of LaGrange, Ga.; a daughter and her husband, Emilie and Nelson Soileau of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Raoul Devillier of Little Teche and Louis Devillier of Thibodaux; two sisters, Leonie Devillier and Minnie Devillier, both of Leonville; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wyble was preceded in death by her husband, Sanders Wyble; parents, Tilden and Leonie Devillier; a son, John Earl Wyble; and a daughter, Maxine Wyble Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Wyble, Gary Morgan, Ricky Wyble, Jake Wyble, Nelson Soileau Jr. and Nelson Soileau Sr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Wyble, Troy Soileau, Derrick Wyble, Ronald Guillory and C.J. Wyble III.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until the time of services Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
