Christopher Starr, born about 1821 Clinton County, Ohio since parents, William Starr and Lidia Jackson married there, and Christopher was one of the first of the children born to them. He had brothers, family members and friends die at Camp Nelson, Arkansas, that may have been his fate as well and buried there.

This Christopher was considered an adult when his father Willam died bef 1845 in Hardin County, Tenn. That fact was mentioned in the will of Willliam.

Christopher was of age when his father , William died and had already been given some land that he lived on. per William's will.

The Harrison county school census also listed Christopher Starr with three children between the ages of eight and thirteen. These children were: J.H., Lucinda, and William.

1) J. H. Starr Born Abt. 1844 - Age 13 when 1855 school census taken.

2) Lucinda Starr Born Abt 1845 - Age 11 when 1855 school census taken.

3) William Starr Born Abt 1847 - Age 8 when 1855 school census taken.

No census records exist for Christopher Starr after 1855. And no knowledge of name of Christopher's wife, Mother of the children. Other children could have been at home under the age of 8 years and born after 1855 also. Where did they all go?

Whereas by Grant #812 to William Starr, deceased: we Lydia Starr, Christopher Starr, Sarah Jones, formerly Sarah Starr, Elizabeth Starr and William, heirs of William Starr deceased- have sold all their equal and undivided interest in land in Civil District No. 12 for $160. 15 to Charles Jones. 14 October 1848 (This document applied to William's land in Tennessee)
