Mrs. Pospishil married Frank Pospishil in 1847 and in 1852 they came to American where they settled in Iowa. They lived there for 12 years. In 1870 they came to Nebraska where she lived out the rest of her life.
At the time of her death she was survived by seven of her eight children. The surviving children were Frank of Luray KS, John of Bloomfield NE, Agnes (Mrs. F. W. Crane) of Deadwood SD, and Joseph, Adolph, Antoinette (Mrs. Anton Psota), and Mary (Mrs. Charles Reeson) all of West Point NE.
She died in the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Charles Reeson (Mary).
She was a woman of many superior qualities and was highly esteemed by all who knew her.
