Mont C. McKenney and Lura A. Maddox were married December 24, 1879 Ohio County, KY. They had four children:
Elmer Marshall McKenney (1880-1919)
Alice Dee McKenney Maddox (1882-1975)
Sarah Daisy McKenney Dickerson (1886-1909)
Oscar Cleveland McKenney (1888-1979)

Mont C. McKenney was the seventh child of twelve children born to Marshall and Eliza Jane (McKenney) McKenney.
Note* Mont spelled his last name as McKenney. The spelling was changed back and forth through several generations.
He is a brother of Spotwood P. McKinney
and Marshall McKenney.
