Helen C. Gelchion, Accident Victim. Westfield, New Jersey. Helen C. Gelchion, 72, died Monday (April 26, 1993) at University Medical Center in Newark after suffering injuries in a car accident in Westfield April 17 that took the life of her husband, John. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Westfield for 37 years. She graduated in 1942 from Fordham University in the Bronx, N.Y., where she received a bachelor of arts' degree in education. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield and a member of its Amity Club. Surviving are three sons, Gregory Gelchion of Bethlehem, Pa., Raymond of Chesterfield, Mo., and Robert of Westfield; a brother, Edward Bucalos of San Francisco, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Mass is at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Church in Westfield. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Dooley Funeral Home in Westfield.
