Stan was born in Olney (historical now) Rush, Kansas. As a young man, he moved with his family from Kansas to Missouri and back to Kansas. He married Sharon Lee Barton on Dec 4, 1953 in Newton, Harvey Co., KS. He held some interesting job positions within Boeing, Lockheed and other corporations. He took his young family, now with two new additions: Donald L. and Penelope Gay, to the golden state of California. He had several "loves" besides his family--God and Jesus Christ first, special automobiles, 49ers, and acting. He performed in seven movies: "In Broad Daylight", "Another Pair of Aces", "Wild Texas Wind", "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", "Courage Under Fire", TV Movie, "Tornado" and one commercial aired in the UK. He was part of the Masonic Lodge and First Christian Church families. His last few hours were peaceful and surrounded by family.
