Of 401 South Eighth street, died at the Altoona hospital at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was born in Altoona Dec. 7, 1894, the son of Thomas C. and Annie Trout Kerlin. Surviving are one daughter, Virginia Coogle of Dallas, Texas, two sons, Raymond T. of Altoona and John W. of California, five grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Annie E. Kerlin of Altoona and the following sisters, Mrs. David J. Hetrick of Harrisburg, Mrs. Daniel Smeltzer of East Prospect, Mrs. Harry
Rhoads, Mrs. Walter Tate and Josephine of Altoona. He was a bricklayer by trade, a member of the Calvary Baptist church the Men's Bible class, and the bricklayers union.
