He was born May 25, 1922. He was married to Euna Starkey, who survives.
Survivors include: one son, Dan Starkey, Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Karyn Lie-Nielsen, Waldoboro, Maine; five sisters, twin Mary Lee Bonnette, San Antonio, Texas, Kathleen Kessinger, Florence Harrison, Ann Peters and Roberta Eldred, all of Springfield; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO. The Rev. Stephen Sowder will officiate. Arrangements are by Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO.
