Death of Mrs. Lewis at home in Leota

Mrs. Minnie Lewis died very suddenly at her home in Leota Thursday evening, October 12, at 10:15 o'clock. She was born July 5 in the year 1880 in Midland County, and died at the age of 53 years three months and seven days. She was loved by all who knew her, and had a willing hand for all. Surviving are the husband, George Lewis, four children by a former marriage, Mrs. Donald D Carl of Ocean Beach, California, Mrs. Harry Moening of Lansing, Misses Frieda and Marion Sanderson at home. The father, Albert Ostrander of Breckenridge, three brothers, John and Glen of Breckenridge and Floyd of Lansing, five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

Prayer was offered at the home Sunday morning at 11:30. Funeral services were held in the Congregational church at Breckenridge at 3:00 o'clock. Clare County Cleaver, 27 October 1933, Page 1.
