FT. MILL, SC - Rev. James (J) Thomas Miller III, 67, of 610 Elberta Lane, died January 6, 2001 at his home. A native of Greenville County, son of the late James Thomas Miller, Jr. and Clara Louise Vellenga Olney, he was a Methodist Minister for 16 years, the Dean of Management Division, Greenville Technical College from 1973-1978, Past Program Chairman & Instructor for American Management Association. He was The President of (LSA) Leadership Seminars Association which he founded in 1974. He was a US Air Force veteran, and a member of the SC United Methodist Conference. Survivors are: three sons: Mike Miller of Roebuck, SC, Jeff Miller of Panama City, FL, and Steve Miller of Tega Cay, SC; one daughter, Lisa Miller of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren: Alex, Cassidy, Justin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3 p.m. at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Tom Rogers, with visitation following in the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Military Rites. Memorials may be made to Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 2388 Brown Wood Rd., Greer, SC, 29651. The Wood Mortuary, Greer SC.
