Funeral services are pending for Anthony Joseph Gabriel, 35, who died suddenly about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in an ambulance en route to the Veterans Hospital in McKinney.

Death was attributed to a brain hemorrhage.

Mr. Gabriel was born in Ondicott, N.Y. on February 3, 1920. He was reared in Carbondale, Penn., and during World War II was stationed at Majors Field. He was married to Miss Ruth Elder in Greenville on February 11, 1949, and the family had resided here and near Farmersville since that time. He was a plumber.

His survivors include his wife; two sons, Anthony Dale and Stephen Dale; a daughter, Yolanda Ruth Gabriel; his father, Frank Gabriel of Carbondale, Penn., and five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Gray-Sorrells Chapel for Anthony Joseph Gabriel, 35, who died suddenly Tuesday night.

Officiating will be the Rev. W.O. Majors.

Burial is to be in East Mount cemetery.
