Joel I. Berry, 74, of Heaters, died March 2, 1991, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, after a long illness.
He was a retired brakeman for B&O Railroad with 39 years' service. He was a member of Heaters United Methodist Church.
Surviving: wife, Lovenna Sumpter Berry; daughter, Rebecca Ann Williams of Amesville, OH; son, David J of Malvern, OH; sister, Jean Berry of Heaters; brothers, Lawrence and Robert, both of Heaters; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service was held at 1 pm Monday at Heaters United Methodist church. There was no visitation. Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
