He was a son of the late Otis Amick Sr. and Margaret K. Amick Scott, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Amick; a daughter, Tanya A. Carroll; a son, Kenneth C. Amick Jr., and wife, Delia; two grandchildren, Kendriana Amick and Kendall Amick, and a third grandchild due in June; a sister, Alma Walsh; and brothers, Otis Amick Jr. and George Amick. He was predeceased by sisters, Phyllis Amick and Jacqueline Stanley; and brothers, Roger Amick, William Amick and Douglas Amick.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Coleman Memorial Cemetery with military rites.
The family is at the residence.
