Ellis L. Brim, 75, widely known retired farmer of this community, died Saturday night at the Hamilton County Hospital. He had been a patient there for a week, suffering from a heart condition and a stroke.

Funersal services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Scott of Council Bluffs officiating and with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Ellis Lee Brim, son Jack and Lizzie Brim, was born April 17, 1891, at Pekin, Ind. He was reared and educated in that community and came to Iowa as a young man in 1911.

He was united in marriage June 25, 1913, to Bessie Tash. The couple moved to Blairsburg and started farming in that community in 1916. They moved to Webster City community and farmed until 1945 when they retired and moved into Webster City.

Mr. Brim is survived by his wife and two sons, Paul Brim of Onamia, Minn. and Bob Brim of Webster City; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He has two brothers, John Brim of Indianapolis, Ind. and Ward Brim of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and one sister, Mrs. Elmer Skelton of Scottburg, Ind. He was preceded in death by one son, Roger; two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Brim was a member of the Church of Christ in which he had always been an active worker.
