Daniel Michael Rousseau, 29, died Monday due to injuries received in a fall from a workover rig 37 miles northeast of Douglas. He was the son of George and Ann Payne Rousseau. He was educated in Leggett, California and Gardiner, Montana. He moved to Douglas in 1976 to work in the oilfields in Converse County. He was married to Brenda Anderson Dec. 5, 1978 in Rawlins, Wyoming. He was employed by Frontier Well Service at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Ann Reimche of Reno, NV; two daughters, Mandie and Meshia Rousseau, both of Douglas; one brother, Dennis Rousseau of Douglas; one half-brother, Wally Reimche of Reno; three step-brothers, Robert Anthony of Douglas, James Anthony of Auburn, WA, and David Anthony of Salt Lake City; four sisters, Danielle Avey and Dawn Gray, both of Reno and Elaine Johnson and Sue Hatcher, both of Ukiah, CA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
