He was married to Mabel Adams, December 24, 1903. They made their home on a farm, north of Lamont, IA., until the fall of 1943, when they retired and moved to town.
Mr. Dopp, better know to his friends as "Charlie" led a good and an active life. He was always interested in community affairs, having been a member of the school board for many years. He has served on township committees, and held many offices, in his local community and church groups.
He joined the Methodist church at an early age and has always been a faithful member.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, two sons, and two daughters, George of Wisconsin Dells, WI.; Earl of Lamont, IA., Delma now Mrs Fred Bowden, near Lamont,IA., and Mildred, now Mrs Robert Olsen of Winthrop, IA., seven grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter, two sisters, Mrs Ive Pitman of Portage, WI., and Mrs Lura Nelson of Oxford, WI., Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
His devotion to his family, his cheerful disposition and friendly way will be missed, but long remembered by all who knew him.
