Born in Manhattan, Michael served in the Navy from 1966 to 1970 and moved to Duanesburg from Long Island 17 years ago.
He was the manager of Kathy's Restaurant on Rt. 20 for the past three years. Previously he operated his own air conditioning and refrigeration repair business.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen R Chesbro Konwisarz, two sons, Michael and Shane Konwisarz of Duanesburg, a daughter Dorothy Konwisarz of Duanesburg, two step daughters, Dionna and Leslie Triggs of Duanesburg, his mother Beatrice Konwisarz of Duanesburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Appel of Williston Park, LI and Mrs. Patricia Randio os Schenectady.
Burial will be at Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street.
