$100 Reward.
Mrs. Paul Pepin call at the DISPATCH office yesterday and stated that she would pay a reward of $100 for the recovery of her son, Leopold Pepin, dead or alive. It will be remembered that on May 15th the boy, who was about 8 years old, while playing with other children at Boom Lake suddenly disappeared and was supposed to have slipped off a log into the lake and was drowned. Although every effort was made to find his body or get some trace of him, it has been a fruitless search. Brainerd Dispatch, 26 August 1892, p. 4, c. 5)
