Omer (Chevy) Chevrette Jr., 84, of Natick Massachusetts passed away July 14, 2012 with his family by his side at Metrowest Medical Center in Natick.
He was born July 10, 1928 in Woonsocket RI a son of the late Omer and Mary Chevrette Sr. Omer served his country honorably with the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching the wildlife in his backyard, and was an avid Red Sox Fan.
Omer is survived by one son Alan Chevrette of South Carolina and his longtime companion Priscilla Fernandes of Natick MA. He also leaves seven sisters, Frances Woodworth of Hampton, Joan Ayotte of Worcester, MA, Gloria Espeleta of Colchester, Carol Gallagher of East Haven, Patricia Raish of Denver, CO., Linda Reilly of Plainfield, and Donna Chevrette of Plainfield, and one brother Thomas Chevrette of New Britain, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Anita (St. John) Chevrette in 1985 and his beloved son Brian Chevrette June 2005.
