Funeral services for Nathaniel Lee "Fish Man" Alexander, 61, will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant CME Church with the Rev. Gregory Nixon Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Alexander will arrive at the church one hour prior to his services. Anniston Funeral Services in charge. A wake will be this evening 5-8 p.m. at the chapel.

Nathaniel was employed with Federal Mogul and Good Year Tire and Rubber for 20 years before retiring. He owned and managed several businesses including: Pulpwood and Logging, Asphalt and Paving and three Catfish ponds.

Survivors include his wife, the Rev. Flora H. Alexander; children, Warren (Gerri) Alexander, Leslie (Charles) Engram, all of Piedmont, Jeffrey Henderson, of Powder Springs, Ga., Deanna (Marcus) Dammond, of Rome, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Geneva Carmichael, Jeanette Lomax, both of Decatur, Ga., William (Lenna) Rouse, of Atlanta, Ga., Herbert Alexander, of Selena, Calif., Joseph (Rose) Alexander, of Rome, Ga.; aunt, Grace Hackett, of Ceder Bluff; special friend, Gary "Pop" Mitchell; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary H. Alexander; siblings, Dr. Clifford Alexander Jr., Sheridon Jerome Alexander and Antionette Alexander.
