Funeral services were held at the Bruce Omand Funeral Home last Thursday for Mrs. Rupert Petersen of New Hamburg, who died the previous Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener. She was 64.
Born in Briclyn, Minn., she was the former Mabel Wick, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wick. She had lived in New Hamburg for three years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Audrey) Greulich of New Hamburg; three brothers. Minard of Glenview. HI., and Ludwick and Walter, both of Stoughton. Wis.; and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Aura) Haugen of Edgerton. Wis.
Rev. Norman A. Keffer conducted the services.
Burial took place in Riverside cemetery.
