Death of Mrs R. A. Wilkinson
The many friends and acquaintances of Mrs. R A Wilkinson will regret to learn she passed to rest yesterday afternoon at 5:15. Mrs. Wilkinson had been ill for some time, hence her demise was not a shock. She was in her 93rd year and was conscious up to a few moments of her passing away.

Mrs. Wilkinson was the widow of Colonel Robert A Wilkinson, who was killed at the second battle of Manassas, leading his regiment, the Fifteenth Louisiana.

She leaves four daughters and one son, Mrs Simeon Toby, Mrs C W Allen, Misses Belle and Mary Wilkinson and Mr. H S Wilkinson, a planter of Jennings, La., besides numerous other members of her family.

The funeral services will be held at her late residence, 1621 Melpomene Street. The interment will be private, at Metairie Cemetery.
