Olive Preather, 87, passed into her Lord's arms, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Springdale Baptist Church. Olive was born April 2, 1925, to Jerry and Martha Coffee. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Survivors: Husband of 69 years, Vaudell Preather; sons, Larry and Gary Preather; grandkids; a great-grandchild; and numerous extended famiy and friends.
