Jones County, Georgia- James L. Comer, 85, of North Cross Road, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 14, 2012, graveside at Comer Family Cemetery in Jones County with Rev. John Albrycht officiating.
Mr. Comer was born September 1, 1926, to the late J.T. Comer and Martha Jewell Lifsey Comer. He honorably served his country during World War II with the United States Army and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray. Mr. Comer enjoyed woodworking and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the founder of James Comer Dairy where he had earned much respect as a businessman.
