Funeral services for Mrs. Glen (Emily) Boss, Sr., 68, Bellwood, were conducted Monday, Sept. 24, from St. Peters Church, Bellwood. Officiating was Father Mark Seiker. Organist and cantor were Ruth Cockson and Marvene Obomy. Pallbearers were Jack Selzer, Louis and Lumir Obomy, David Hough, Steve Schroeder and Don Semin.
Burial was in St. Peter's &Paul ; St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellwood.
Emily Zoucha, the daughter of John M. and Anna Zoucha, was bom March 8, 1922, in Platte County near Tamov. She married Glen Boss, Sr., on Jan. 6, 1942, at Grand Island.
They lived in Columbus, David City and Bellwood. For eight years she and her husband were co-owners of the E &; G Comer Bar in David City. She managed the Behlen Mfg. cafeteria at Columbus for 18 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and St. Peter's Altar Society in Bellwood.
Survivors include her husband, Glen of Bellwood; three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Sharon) Burger of Bellwood, Mrs. Rex (Barb) Adair of Columbus, and Mrs. Bob (Kathi) Tenner of Gretna; one son, Glen, Jr., of Columbus; four grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Zoucha of Genoa and Clare Olaufka of Omaha; and five brothers, Ted Zoucha of Columbus, Joe Zoucha of Albion, Richard Zoucha of Omaha, James Zoucha of Genoa, and Leonard Zoucha of Hooper. Her parents and five brothers preceded her in death.
