Graduated from A. C. H. S in 1910.
Worked as supervisor of Maple Cottage, Kansas Children's Receiving Home, at Atchison as well as J. C. Penney's
Member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6. Member of the Wesleyan Service Guild.
Miss Melinda Bonnel has been one of the real popular brides-to-be. Last week at the shower given by Misses Beulah and Lilah English she was bountifully bestowed with beautiful gifts, among them a number of Pyrex pieces, the pride of every housekeeper. The decorations of pink and white were in good taste and the color scheme was carried out in the brick ice cream and angel food cake served. Monday evening of this week Miss Louise Thies, of Monrovia entertained delightfully for her with a handkerchief shower. Handkerchiefs of all descriptions and color, did she receive, all beautiful and variety enough to match any costume she might desire to choose for years to come. Miss Thies served delicious refreshments.
