BIRTHDAY DINNER FOR HAROLD ALLEN
A birthday dinner Sunday honored Pvt. Harold Allen, at the home of his father, Ruel Allen. Those present other than Pvt. Allen and his father were Susie, Charles and Larry Allen, Mr. Cazzie Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes Allen, Kaye and Carol; Miss Melinda Perkins, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stinnett, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Skaggs, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Huber, Alma Dean and Phillip, all of Buffalo.
Mr. and Mrs. Asa Whitlock, Rickie and Ronnie Gene, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Whitlock, Bobby and Tommie, all of Hodgenville; Miss Thelma Allen and Mrs. Naomi Miller, of Louisville; Rev. Charlie Warren, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Warren, of Campbellsville.
Afternoon visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Skaggs and family, Jimmy Thompson, Ronnie Benningfield, Doyt and Junior Perkins, Lewis Brewer, all of Buffalo; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Warren, of Louisville; Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Huffman and daughter, of Magnolia. A bountiful dinner was served and all enjoyed the day. Pvt. Allen will leave for Germany March 31st.
