Debbie Kaye Eckman Lipsey found peace and eternal serenity on June 28, 2001.

Born September 1, 1956 in Salt Lake City to Harvey and Ruth Turnbow Eckman. Married Dave Torreyson, later divorced. Married her special friend and care giver, Vern Lipsey on July 20, 2000.

Debbie was raised in Midvale and graduated from Hillcrest High School. Member of the LDS Church. She liked to cook, work in her garden and helping others.

Survived by her husband, sons, Trevor and Troy Torreyson. Step children, April, Vernon and Shannon Lipsey. Brother and sisters, Gary (Sherry) Eckman, Claudia (Chuck) Hamer, JoAnn (Dick) Dixson, Ginger (Devin) Riggs, Kathy (Paul) Osborn. Preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Mt. View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South. Funeral Directors Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
