Eric Hogan Tolman
BOUNTIFUL – Eric Hogan Tolman, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning Feb. 10, 1998 in Bountiful, Utah from causes incident to age. He was born Sept. 8, 1912, the son of Ephraim and Phebe Hogan Tolman.
He married June Barnett on May 25, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple. An active member and High Priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he enjoyed singing in the ward choir and being a home teacher.
He retired from the Bountiful City Water Department after 32 years of service. Eric always found time to tend an orchard and a nice garden, the fruits of which he freely shared with others.
He is survived by his wife, June and three sons and a daughter, E. Max and Nyla Tolman, Ray B and Janice Tolman, Thomas B and Carol Tolman all of Bountiful and Norma and Kelly Jensen, Woods Cross; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 13, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 S. Main, Friends may call Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
