Born May 12, 1913, in Black Brook, New York, she was the daughter of Francis and Josephine (Brisson) Fountain.
Mrs. Seguin attended Holy Name Catholic School in Au Sable Forks. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 504 and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She and her late husband Victor worked the food booth at the Labor Day fair. She was a lifetime member of the Au Sable Forks FAN Club and received many awards for volunteering her services to various organizations.
She was survived by a daughter, two sons, 18 grandchildren, 29 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased her husband, Victor Seguin; a daughter, Anna Murray; a son, Ronald Seguin; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Howard (Shirley) Seguin; and a brother, Alfred Fountain.
A funeral Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Donald Kramberg, Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at 9 a.m. at Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks.
