Mrs. Mary Brandstatter, wife of Daniel Brandstatter, of Hamlin Township, died last Friday at 8 p.m. of typhoid pneumonia and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery last Sunday, funeral services conducted by Rev. J.H. Yaggy.

Mrs. Brandstatter was born near Woodstock, Canada, March 26, 1846, moved to Iowa in 1865, was married to Mr. Daniel Brandstatter October 20th, 1873, and a resident of Audubon County since 1883. She leaves six children the youngest of whom is about five years of age. Mrs. Brandstatter was a woman of noble character, highly esteemed by all who knew her and was one of the converts of the revival meeting at Highland Grove and a worthy member of the Evangelical Association at that place.
