Jas. Aikman and wife of Gray went to Emporia, Kansas about two weeks ago to visit relatives. Last Wednesday morning Mr. Aikman awoke about 5 o'clock and as he was not feeling well he went back to bed and a little later the man he was visiting called him and as he didn't answer he went to his room and found him dead. His remains were brought here Saturday and taken to the home of his brother, A.F. Aikman in Gray. The funeral services were held Monday from the M.E. Church in Gray and the body was brought to Audubon and laid to rest in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
