Mrs. Richard Badger, an old resident of this county died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Newton Belden, near Volga City Monday, April 29th, and was brought here Wednesday for burial.
Short services were held at the M. E. church conducted by Rev. Piper and the body laid to rest by the side of her husband in Long Grove cemetery.
She was the mother of thirteen children, nine of whom are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. She was 72 years of age.
