Margaret (Vaughn) Gowin, 79, of Fulton, Missouri, died Friday, November 27, 1998, at the Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton. She was born on April 23, 1919, in Fulton, to William and Julia (Kemp) Vaughn. She married Francis S. Gowin on May 29, 1937, in Fulton.
Survivors include her husband, one son, one daughter, four grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
She worked as a clerk for Mattingly Brothers before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fulton, the DAV Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing.
Services will be held at the Debo Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond McCallister will officiate. Burial will follow in the Callaway Memorial Gardens.
