Mrs, Zipperer Dies After a Long Illness
Mrs. Joseph Zipperer, 50, died at her home at 428 N. Seventh street last night
after an illness that was of long duration. Mrs. Zipperer never having recovered
from effects of an operation a year ago. Funeral services will be held Monday
morning at Sacred Heart church the Rev. Luby officiating.
Mrs. Zipperer was born at Whitelaw April 5, 1875 and has always made her home
in Manitowoc county and for some years in this city. She was married in 1895,
her maiden name having been Mary Brey. Besides her husband she is survived by
one daughter, Georgianna, who is at present a student at Oshkosh Normal. Leo
Brey, a nephew has made his home with the family. One brother, George Brey
and four sisters Mrs. Joseph Pritzl, Mrs. J. Schmatz, Mrs. Adolph Koerner, and
Sister Georgiana also survive.
