Mrs. Barry (Cynthia) Zinkel, 44, of 955 S. 37th St., anitowoc (sic), died Monday, January 26, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zinkel, nee Cynthia Bursek, was born Dec. 7, 1937, at Manitowoc, daughter of Mrs. Emeline Wiegert Bursek and the late Frank Bursek. She was educated in the Manitowoc School System and was graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1955. She was married to Barry Zinkel Nov. 23, 1957, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Zinkel had been employed at Stangels Super Valu Store, Manitowoc, the past 17 years and was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Barry, two daughters, Patrica and Sara Zinkel, her mother, Mrs. Emeline Bursek and a sister, Miss June Bursek of Manitowoc. Her father, Frank Bursek, preceded her in death in 1975. A daughter, Susan and a sister, Lucille Bursek also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Manitowoc County Braille Club.
