Mr. Stephen J. Zdanowski, age 72, of 1213 S. 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Sunday,
April 25, 1993, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at St. Mary's
Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Roman
Zbieranski O.F.M., with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born July 1, 1920, at South Chicago, Ill. Son of the late Felix and Teofila
Baldyga Zdanowski. He was married to Celia F. Karnatnowski July 1, 1944, at St.
Stephen Catholic Church, Chicago. He was employed as a baker in the Evanston, Ill.
and Chicago area all of his working life retiring in 1982. He and his wife, Celia,
came to Manitowoc in 1986. He was a member of the Polish Bakers Society and the
Bakers and Confectionery Union.
Survivors include his wife, Celia; a son and daughter-in-law, John G. and Eileen
Zdanowski, Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Bruce Allen, Wheeling,
Ill.; four grandchildren, John R., Peter and Katie Zdanowski, and Steven Allen; a
brother, Joseph Zdanowski, Chicago; a sister, Lottie Antoxzewski, Ariz. Nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Preceded in death by a brother
and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home on Tuesday
from 4-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 by Rather Roman.
