ROGER V. ZAHORIK
Roger V. Zahorik, 69, of 4575 Gratiot Road, Port Huron, Mich., died Monday
at Ann Arbor, Mich.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Zahorik was born March 4, 1903, in Kewaunee County, son of the late Frank
and Anna Skubal Zahorik. He married Anna Vetter in 1927 at Manitowoc. She
preceded him in death in 1951. He married Sophie Komorowski in 1963 at Detroit.
The couple located at Port Huron. He was employed on the Great Lakes as a master
mate and pilot, retiring three years ago. He was a member of the Army Corp, of
Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Sophia, two sons, two daughters, a brother, Dan, of
Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Tillie Khail, of Manitowoc; and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday until the time
of service on Friday. (Survivors edited for living)
