Mrs. Frank Zachek, 89, who resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. E. A. Napp, of 840 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home
and at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Cyril
Van Heeswyk will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zachek, nee Louise Haasl, was born Nov. 7, 1882, in Miladore, daughter of
the late John and Elizabeth Valitchka Haasl. She was married to Frank Zachek
Sept. 2, 1902, at Milladore. She resided at Ladysmith, Wis., until 1931 when
she moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Zachek preceded her in death in 1949.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Gertrude) Novitski, Mrs. Louis
(Vera) Stangel and Mrs. E. A. (Billie) Napp of Manitowoc; two brothers, Gust,
of Sacramento, Calif., and Charles, of Monroe, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Ed
Oligney, of Marshfield, Wis., and Mrs. Joseph Diefenbach, of St. Paul, Minn.;
three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Four brothers and a sister
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home (State Street) entrance) from 5-9 p.m.
Friday and until 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.
