WILLIAM W. ZABEL

William Zabel 64 of 1121 S. 21st St Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at the
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a weeks illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev L.H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery Manitowoc.
He was born Dec. 18, 1890 at Montello Wis. and later located at Manitowoc. He
married Miss Ida Ullman. She died in 1936. On Nov. 18, 1939, he married Mrs.
Mary Panowitz Kraemer. He was employed the last 19 years by the Manitowoc public
utilities.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. John Theis of Maribel, Mrs. William
Maertz of Reedsville, and Mrs. Rodney Marx of Milwaukee; brother Theodore of
Montello, sister Mrs. Albert Hartwig of Montello and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Leschke Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m.
Sunday.The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Monday.
