George J. Woytal, age 70, of 1121 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening,
April 1, 1994, at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at the
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski
O.F.M. with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Graveside
Military Services will be accorded by the V.F.W. Otto Oas Post #659.
He was born November 16, 1923, in Manitowoc, son of the late John and Constance
Daron Woytal. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1941
and served with the United States Army in World World (sic) II from 1943 to 1946
in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre. He married the former Elaine J. Novak, October 2,
1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Woytal was employed with the
City of Manitowoc Street Department, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Eagles
Aerie #706, V.F.W. Otto Oas Post #659, and the Manitowoc Seagulls. George enjoyed
many years of playing in area softball leagues. He was a member of many teams
including the Manitowoc Wolves, Boston Store and St. Mary's Team. He loved his
baseball and football especially the Cubs and Bears. He was strictly a Wrigley
fan.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine J. Woytal, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-
in-law, Robert and Nelda Woytal, Sun City West, Ariz.; three sisters-in-law,
Delphine Bourne, Mrs. Leo (Edith) Kramer, Mrs. James (Armella) Woytal, all of
Manitowoc; nieces and nephews, Jeffrey and Jill Woytal, Tulsa, Okla., Peter Kramer,
Margote, Fla., Philip Kramer, Los Angeles, Calif., Paul and Dianne Kramer, Valders,
Wis., Denna Bourne, Richfield, Minn., Douglas (Nancy) Bourne, Eden Prairie, Minn.,
Dennis (Patricia) Parkos, Manitowoc, David (Pamela) Kuehnl, Manitowoc, great nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his
parents, a brother, James Woytal, a niece, Barbara Woytal, and a sister Virginia
Slope.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. this Monday evening,
April 4, 1994, where a prayer service will be held a (sic) 7:30 p.m. by Rev. Roman
Zbieranski.

floor of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and the nursing staff at Park Lawn
Home.
